ROSA B. BELL

KENANSVILLE -- Rosa Bland Bell, 90, passed away Monday, September 6, 2004, at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.

Born January 28, 1914, to the late Mr. William Henry Bland and wife, Mrs. Bailey Elizabeth Worrell Bland, of Pender County, Mrs. Bell was the wife of the late Mr. Elmore Earl Bell and a member of Kenansville Baptist Church for over fifty years.

Surviving Mrs. Bell are one son, Mr. Kenneth Ray Bell and wife, Joyce, of Kenansville; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Bell Murphy of Rose Hill, Mrs. Carol Bell Johnson of Kenansville and Mrs. Kaye Bell Stroud and husband, Earl, of Kenansville; ten grandchildren, Garry Murphy and wife, Carol, Teresa Smith, Woody Smith, Stewart Johnson, Ann McCullen, Patrick Bell and wife Mary, Tara Stroud and husband John, Parrish Stroud and wife Angie, Lisa Bland and husband Mark, and Mike Graves; eleven great-grandchildren, Dillon Smith, Ashley Smith, Matthew Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Alissa Johnson, John Davis Bland, Jake Graves, Regan Moore, Kyle Murphy, Grice Bell and Ann Holland Bell; and a very special friend for many years, Vera Conner.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2004, at Community Chapel, Community Funeral Home, 1654 Highway 24/50 East, Warsaw. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens, Highway 24/50 East, Warsaw.

Visitation will be from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kenansville Baptist Church.
