SELMA -- Ola Brown Crocker, 74, of Brown's Pond Road, died Monday following a five-month battle with brain cancer.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Carter's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Crocker is survived by a son, Danny Ray Crocker of Four Oaks; a daughter, Brenda Crocker Strickland of Greenville; three brothers, the Rev. Willard Brown, Rolland Brown and Herman Brown of Selma; two sisters, Margaret Upchurch of Raleigh and Ester Creech of Micro; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
