SUSAN DIAMADUROS

CHARLOTTE -- Susan Baucom Diamaduros, 48, of Charlotte, died Saturday at her home.

Born April 20, 1956 in Goldsboro, she was the daughter of Nancy "Nan" Pearce Baucom of Goldsboro and the late Dr. Howard Baucom. While living in Goldsboro, she was an active member of the Girl Scouts and First Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Wayne Country Day School.

A Charlotte resident for 29 years, Mrs. Diamaduros graduated from UNCC and had been employed for 10 years with the Herff-Jones Company. She had served as a Girl Scout Leader and Den Mother for Cub Scouts and was a member of the Sardis Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Diamaduros is survived by her husband of 29 years, Perry Diamaduros, and two sons, Wesley and Kirby, all of the home; one brother, Bob Baucom of Chapel Hill; one sister, Marta Baucom of Asheboro; and two nieces.

The family will receive friends today from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Road, followed by a funeral service at 8 p.m. with Dr. William Hufham of Goldsboro officiating.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 9844C Southern Pines Blvd., Charlotte, N.C., 28273 (www.nationalmssociety.org/ncp/).

Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
