JOEANNIE LEWIS
JoeAnnie Lewis, 82, of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Wayne County, died on Aug. 21 at Briarcliff Haven Healthcare and Rehabilita-tion Care in Atlanta.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of the late Ethan and Lillie Toodle Thompson.
She is survived by two sons, Otis Lewis Jr. and Ray Glen Lewis of Atlanta; one daughter, Anne L. Johnson of Atlanta; one brother, James Leslie Thompson of Jacksonville; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 p.m on Friday at the funeral home.
