LARRY H. GRAHAM
MOUNT OLIVE -- Mr. Larry H. Graham, age 57, died Friday.
He graduated from Mount Olive High School in 1965, entered the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. After service, he attended Mount Olive College and then went to UNC Wilmington where he graduated with a BS degree in accounting. After college, he went to work with Mount Olive Pickle Company where he worked for 30 years and was executive vice president.
He was a member of Mount Olive Christian Church, a member of Mount Olive Masonic Lodge #208, where he served as secretary and treasurer and was a past master; a member of Waylin Foundation; and a member of the board of directors for Wachovia Bank.
Memorial services will be held today (Monday) at 4 p.m. at the College Hall on the Mount Olive College campus. Dr. Jerry Burton and the Rev. Bruce McDonald Powell will officiate.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife, Connie Powell Graham; one son, Brad Graham and wife Erin Hughes Graham of Wilson; his mother, Hilda Westbrook Graham; three brothers, Jesse Graham Jr. of Dudley, Ricky Graham and wife Cindy of Southport and Henry Graham and wife Frankye of Grantham; brothers-in-law, David W. Powell and wife Donna, and Bruce Powell and wife Carrie; nieces and nephews, Shanna Graham, Kelly Graham, Jessica Graham, Danny Graham, Matt Graham, Harley Graham, Ryan Powell, Kristen Powell, Austin Powell, Chris Powell and Jason Powell; and his mother-in-law, Juanita W. Powell of Wallace.
He was predeceased by his father, Jesse Graham, and a daughter, Susan Alyse Graham.
The family will receive friends at the home at 217 W. John St., Mount Olive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan Alyse Graham Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Duplin County Education Foundation, P.O. Box 128, Kenansville, N.C., 28349; or to Mount Olive Christian Church; or to Masonic Lodge #208 in Mount Olive.
Arrangements are with Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
