RAYMOND RIVENBARK

WARSAW -- The funeral for Raymond Washington Rivenbark, 76, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Warsaw Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.

Mr. Rivenbark died Sunday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.

He was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Lou Merritt Rivenbark of Duplin County. He retired as vice president of Durham Life Insurance Company and was a veteran of the United States Army and the North Carolina National Guard. He was a member of Warsaw Presbyterian Church, past master of the Warsaw Masonic Lodge #677, and past president of the Warsaw-Kenansville Rotary Club.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beatrice Marie Bostic Rivenbark of the home; one son, Raymond Washington Rivenbark Jr. of Blue Ridge, Va.; three daughters, Deborah Dianne Rivenbark of Cary, Connie Rivenbark Moore of Hamp-stead and Bonnie Rivenbark Willett of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Edward Perry Rivenbark of Indian Rock Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Cleon Hightower of Chesa-peake, Va., Juanita Brinkley of Cary and Emma Gray Kennedy of Suffolk, Va.; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Community Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, memor-ial donations may be made to the Masonic Children's Home, Children's Home, 600 College St., Oxford, N.C., 27565.
