Eddie Kornegay Sr., of Washington, D.C., died Thursday at Washington Medical Center.
Among his survivors is a daughter, Linda Sauls of Goldsboro.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
The family will receive friends at 214 Hooks River Road, Goldsboro.
