DOROTHY MALLEN
SNOW HILL -- Dorothy Cummings Mallen, 87, of Britthaven of Snow Hill, died Wednesday.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Hightower and Dr. Aubrey Jones officiating.
Mrs. Mallen was born in Gary, Ind., to the late George and Florence Wolf Cummings. She was wife of the late Roy E. Mallen and formerly worked with General Electric.
Her survivors include three sons, Roy Mallen and wife, Liz, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., David Mallen and wife, Claudia, of New Hartford, N.Y., and Roger Mallen and wife, Connie, of LaGrange; two sisters, Georgia Codling and Evelyn May, both of Oregon; two grandchildren, Jesse Mallen and Lynnea Mallen of New Hartford, N.Y.; and three step-grandchildren, Stacy Sanders of Raleigh, Emily Sanders and Allison Sanders of LaGrange.
The family will receive friends following the service on Sunday.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
