MANLEY WOOTEN
FARMVILLE -- Manley Edward Wooten, 75, of 4126 East Pine St., died Saturday.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Church Street Chapel of Farmville Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mr. Wooten was a member of Marlboro Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Air Force. He also retired from Wayne Community College, where he taught clock repair.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Horton Wooten of the home; two daughters, Charlene Donaldson and Diane Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three stepsons, Rodney Faulkner and Eddie Evans of Farmville and Mike Evans of Stantonsburg; five sisters, Ila Wooten of Charlotte, Edna W. Beaman of Farmville, Daisy Hanczor of Greenville, Mildred Cox of Ayden and Barbara Morgan of Clarksville, Tenn.; two brothers, J.A. "Bud" Wooten Jr. of Farmville and Norwood Wooten of Laurinburg; two grandchildren, one step-grandchild and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Farmville Funeral Home.
