RALPH JOHNSON

Ralph David Johnson, 79, of 307 Pineland Drive, died Tuesday at his home.

A native of Jamestown, N.Y., Mr. Johnson was the son of the late John Hilmer Johnson and Anna Forslef Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was the owner and operator of G&M Sales which was founded in 1959. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Joyce Morley Johnson; two daughters, Jody Brashear and husband, Harold, of Goldsboro and Sandra Murphy and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; two sons, Alan Johnson and wife, Betty, of Goldsboro and Rob Johnson and wife, Kim, of Georgia; and seven grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Zachary Fuller, Lee Brashear, Christine Brashear, David Paul Johnson, Brittney Allum and Brian Allum.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Bame and Dr. Homer Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brashear, 119 Fairway Drive, Goldsboro.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church General Fund, 204 E. Chestnut Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
