REGINALD O. FRAZIER
MIAMI, Fla. -- Reginald O'Keith Frazier, 39, formerly of Goldsboro and New York, passed away in Miami, Fla., Tuesday, June 29.
He was a 1982 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School where he was the Salutatorian. He was a 1986 graduate of North Carolina State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, won several academic awards and he was a 1991 MBA graduate of Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass.
His survivors include his parents, David and Sarah Atkinson-Frazier of Goldsboro; grandmother, Arteazer Frazier of Goldsboro; uncles, Willie (Geraldine) Atkinson, Raymond (Geraldine) Atkinson, Eugene (Doris) Bell, all of Goldsboro, and James (Dorothy) Atkinson of Landover, Md.; great-uncles, Leroy Atkinson, Nathaniel Coley and Larry Artis all of Goldsboro; aunts, Vauline Swinson, Glendora (Earl) Barnes, Mary (Herman) Edwards, Alice Atkinson, Joyce (Larry) Gray and Nettie (Eugene) Grandy, all of Goldsboro; great-aunts, Inez Coley, Minearvia Coley, Annie Bell Coley, Thelma Bell, Lillie Artis and Annie Bell Baker all of Goldsboro.
The funeral service will be held at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Rd., Monday at noon with the Rev. Joe Jackson officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park. On Sunday at 7 p.m., an inspirational wake will be held at Best Grove M.B. Church.
Although flowers are welcome, in order to continue the legacy of Reginald O. Frazier, a scholarship fund has been established in his memory at Dees Law Firm. Tax-deductible contributions may be made payable to The Reginald Frazier Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 8, Goldsboro, 27533-0008.
