Irene Aycock Flowers, 92, of Fremont, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Thursday at noon at Fremont Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by a son, Jack Flowers, and is survived by a daughter, Betsy Braswell of Kinston; a son, John Flowers of Pikeville; and six grandchildren and 13l great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the funeral.
