WILLIAM HINNANT
William Hopton Hinnant, 60, of the Elroy community, died Sunday at Sunbridge in Mount Olive
He was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late Ezra Hinnant and Bernice Anderson Hinnant. He was retired from Hevi-Duty.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Friends Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating.
Mr. Hinnant is survived by a daughter, Kim Atkins of Cary, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Hopton Hinnant Jr.; two brothers, Bobby Lee Hinnant and Ronnie Hinnant of Goldsboro, and a sister, Gertrude Slater of Hartville, Ala.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
