IRENE GLASPIE
MAGNOLIA -- The funeral for Irene Graham Glaspie will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Magnolia. The Rev. Tony Harrington will officiate. Burial will be in Glaspie Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Glaspie died Tuesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
She is survived by daughters, Lorene Glaspie of Faison and Bernice G. McKoy and her husband, Doug, of Philadelphia, Pa.; sons, James Glaspie and wife Mary, of Mystic Court, Freddie Glaspie and wife Julia of Philadelphia, and Levonzei Glaspie of Farmville; sister, Carolyn Wilkerson of New York, N.Y.; brother, William Kornegay of Magnolia; a cousin who was like a brother, George E. Vann of Godlsboro; and 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
The wake will be held at the church on Saturday night from 7 until 8.
Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive is serving the family.
