DAISY HOLLOMAN

Daisy Falls Jones Holloman, 81, died Thursday at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.

The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob Bame and the Reverend Dr. Billy Seate officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Holloman was born in Craven County to the late Coy and Cynthia Braswell Jones of Rosewood. She graduated from Rosewood High School and worked with her husband for 41 years at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Post Office. She was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church and the Wesley Fellowship Class and was a past president of the Goldsboro Lioness Club.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ransom Holloman Jr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy and Kenneth Bryant of New Canton, Va., and Bonnie and Richard Hadden of Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Zillia Mae Fail of Goldsboro and Maxine Holloman of Goldsboro; and two sisters, Dorothy Dillman of Elizabethtown and Doris Pate of Rosewood.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and other times at the home, 803 South Taylor Street, Goldsboro.

They request that memorial gifts be directed to Community Home Care & Hospice, 1201-C Wayne Memorial Dr., Goldsboro, 27534; or to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 204 E. Chestnut St., Goldsboro, 27530.
