LULA FORD
Lula E. Ford, 85, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Wayne County, died Friday.
She was a member of Augusta Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Dudley, and the funeral will be held there on Saturday at noon. The Rev. Brady Carmack will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Ford is survived by a daughter, Doris "Vickie" Anderson of Washington, D.C.; a son, Clifton Ford of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Jimmie Stevens of Washington, D.C.; and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson is serving the family.
