LONNIE WILLIAMS

FREMONT -- Lonnie Daniel Williams, 80, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004.

The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Eddie McKeel and the Rev. Paul Weaver at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Louise Owens Williams of Fremont; three daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Woodruff and Charles and Connie Thorne and George of Middlesex and Sandra May and Earl of Lucama; a son and daughter-in-law, Reid Williams and Kim Weinert of Lucama; three sisters, Bertha Webb of Wilson, Maggie Nance of Eden and Bettie Moore of Garner; two brothers, Horace Williams of Wilmington and Johnny Williams of Raleigh; eight grandchildren, Randall Woodruff, Shawn Driver, Kelly Woodruff, Billie Jo Hopkins, Tracy May, Ashley Thorne, Cynthia Williams and JR May; two stepsons, Allan Owens of Florida and Mark Owens of the home; three step-grandchildren, Tracy Owens, Tia Owens and Trina Owens; special friends, Lynette and Kenny Washam; and a beloved pet, Pee- Wee.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Juanita Bean Williams.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 US 264-A West, and at other times the family will be at 7103 Hwy. 117 N., Fremont.
