SARAH K. LASSITER
PIKEVILLE -- Sarah Karmen Lassiter, 21-month-old daughter of Dean and Sandii Lassiter, died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A celebration to remember Sarah will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield officiating.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Sadie Kathryn Lassiter; her maternal grandparents, Sharoyn M. Sims of Goldsboro and Lowell Wayne Sims of Copperas Cove, Texas; her paternal grandparents, John and Linda Lassiter of Goldsboro; her maternal great-grandmother, Maude Sims of California; her aunts and uncles, Caroyn and Clint Borel, Gena and Jody O'Neal and Marc and Dawn Lassiter; and her cousins, Haley Lassiter, Frankie Lassiter, Emily Borel and Dillon Borel.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, 27834.
The family will receive friends today from 3 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at their home, 882 Vail Road, Pikeville.
