JOSEPHINE F. HUMELSINE
SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Josephine Fleming Humel-sine, 88, formerly of Berry Street, Goldsboro, died Friday at Summer Breeze on Wilmington Island.
She was born in Durham, North Carolina, daughter of the late David Kerr Fleming and Irene Tilley Fleming. She was a graduate of Durham High School and was a retired buyer in the retail industry. She was a former member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Goldsboro and currently a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Savannah.
Her husband, Willis Humelsine, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her son, David S. Humelsine of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Valinda Fleming McKibben of Savannah, Georgia and Alice Fleming Gates of Carlisle, Penn.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
