ALMA N. DAVIS
Ms. Alma Marie Nixon Davis, 85, of Mount Airy, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Ms. Davis was born in Surry County on August 15, 1918 to the late Wory Emory and Lettia Ettia Coe Nixon.
She was a retired cashier from Food Lion and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
Local survivors include a granddaughter and spouse, Debbie and Duane Hubbard of Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Skyline Memory Gardens. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Russell Parsons. The family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home of Mount Airy.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, 27534.
Local arrangements are being handled by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory of Goldsboro.
