T. JEFF OUTLAW

MOUNT OLIVE -- Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Outlaw, 92, of 253 Jeff Outlaw Road, died Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Stephens will officiate. Committal and entombment will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the mausoleum chapel of Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Outlaw was a retired farmer and was a life member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was the son of the late Lawton and Emma Clark Outlaw and was the widower of Sadie Belle Alphin Outlaw.

He is survived by his children, Rosemond O. Tyndall and her husband Delano "Speck" Tyndall of Mount Olive, Carolyn O. Turner and her husband Wilbur Turner Jr. of Raleigh, Phyllis O. Godbold of Raleigh and Dennis Outlaw and his wife Shirley Outlaw of Garner; a sister, Sallie O. Dail of Mount Olive; 10 grandchildren, Barbara T. Ipock and her husband Keith of Wilmington, Greg Tyndall and his wife Sara of Fuquay Varina, Wilbur Turner III and his wife Cindy of Garner, David Turner of Rhinbeck, N.Y., Jeffrey Godbold of Burke, Va., Chris Godbold of Alexandria, Va., Jennifer Godbold of West Orange, N.J., Matthew Outlaw of Willow Springs, Seth McDonald of Raleigh, and Nicholas Outlaw of Cary; and three great-grandsons, Michael Outlaw, Caleb Turner and Drew Tyndall.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, c/o Charles Ivey, 2284 Summerlin's Crossroads Road, Mount Olive, N.C. 28365.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home following the service on Tuesday night, and at the residence at other times.
