DELMON LEE
FOUR OAKS -- Delmon Lee, 79, of White Oak Road, died Thursday at his home.
He was a native of Johnston County and was the son of the late Carl and Viola Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly M. Lee; a son, Tony Lee of Four Oaks; two daughters, Joyce Massengill of Kenly and Kathy Lee of Four Oaks; three stepsons, Michael Hurlbert, Charlie Hurlbert and David Hurlbert of Chapel Hill; one sister, Wilma Elderidge of Four Oaks; five grandchildren, Chris and Cameron Lee, John Massengill and Clint and Savannah Sullivan, all of Four Oaks; and a great-grandchild, Mary Lauren Lee.
The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10 in the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home. The Revs. Freddie Langston and Jerry Hicks officiated. Burial was in the Lee Family Cemetery.
