J. EZRA WILLIAMS
James Ezra Williams, 72, of 365 Durham Lake Road, died Thursday at home. He was born in Wayne County to the late James Henry and Addie Hardy Williams and was married to Willie Myrtle Whitman Williams. He was a member of the American Legion.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 7 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnny Sasser will be officiating.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Rex Williams and George Williams of Dudley and James Robert Williams of Mount Olive; one daughter, Mary Ann Bass of Grantham; one brother, Ronnie Williams of Dudley; one sister, Leona Box of Texas; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville NC 27834.
