WARSAW -- The funeral for Walter Hand Jr., 66, of 123 Warren Road, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bowdens. The Rev. David Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park in Mount Olive.
Mr. Hand died Saturday at Glencare Nursing Center.
He is survived by one daughter, Clarice Williams of Warsaw; two sisters, Dora Martin of Winston-Salem and Nellie Gray Hicks of Warsaw; and two grandchildren.
The viewing will be today from 4 until 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
