SUSIE CREECH
PINE LEVEL -- The funeral for Clarkie Sue "Susie" Creech, 38, of 636 Peedin Road, will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Ralph Parker and the Rev. Pete Hartley will officiate. Burial will on Tuesday morning at 10 at Price Cemetery.
Ms. Creech was born in Johnston County and was the daughter of Thurman Rudolph Creech and Elizabeth "Liz" Hinnant Ward.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sons, David Hugh Baker Jr. and Newton David Baker of Pine Level; two daughters, Melissa Dawn Winant of Mineral, Va., and Elizabeth Ann Marie Baker of the home; two brothers, Thurman Rudolph Creech Jr. of Smithfield and Herbert "Herbie" Alfred Creech of Pine Level; one sister, Naomi Lee Parker of Selma; three stepsisters, Karen Gooseman, Robin Sasser and Sherry Harper of Smithfield; and one granddaughter.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to and immediately following the service tonight.
