WENDY GURLEY
FREMONT -- Wendy LuAnn Gurley, 33, died unexpectedly on Thursday.
The funeral will be held by the graveside today at 2 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Creel will officiate.
Miss Gurley is survived by her parents, K.C. and Margaret Gurley of Fremont; a sister, Tammy Belom of Pikeville; a brother, Kirby Christopher Gurley of Fremont; her fiancé, Carroll Shealy of Wilson; an uncle, James Justice of Wilson; nieces, Tatum Townsend, Kymbra Gurley and Casie Belom; a nephew, Clye Gurley; along with her four beloved pet dogs, Sweetie, Sassy, Junior and Prissy.
The family received friends Saturday night from 7 until 9 at Shackleford Funerals and Cremations.
Memorial donations may be made to the local Humane Society.
