RUBY G. GINN

SNOW HILL -- Ruby Grant Ginn, of 769 Jim Grant Road, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.

A native of the Arba Community of Greene County, she was born July 2, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. Stephen McLamb Grant. She was a member of Hull Road Original Free Will Baptist Church, where she founded the Fidelis Sunday School Class and faithfully taught it for many years. Through her devotion and teaching, Mrs. Ginn became a mentor to many who now serve as Sunday School Teachers at Hull Road.

Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Ginn.

Her surviving family includes her children, A. Stephen Ginn and wife Sharon of Snow Hill, Melba Ginn Ward and husband Daniel of Goldsboro, Sandra Ginn Keeney and husband William Robert of Parksley, Va., and Russell G. Ginn and wife Blois of Snow Hill; a special sister-in-law, Sally Grant of Snow Hill; caregivers, Lorretta Lewis, Mary Lee Pridgen and Johnnie Mae Dixon all of Snow Hill and Edith Powell of Clarksville, Va.; and nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hull Road Original Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow in the Hull Road Cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hull Road O.F.W.B., 3984 Hull Road, Snow Hill, N.C., 28580.
