MIKE SMITH
Michael James "Mike" Smith, 36, of 204 Friendswood Drive died Tuesday at his home. Mike was a manager of Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Wilson.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. from LaGrange United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ben Sims officiating.
Mike is survived by his wife, Gwen Meier Smith; four children, Mitchel, James, Sophie and Emma Smith; father, Larry Lee Smith of Minneapolis, Minn.; mother, Cathy Peck of Hammond, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Louise Peck of Champaign, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Smith Children Education Fund, c/o Wachovia Bank, 119 W. Railroad St., LaGrange, N.C. 28551. Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
