BEATRICE HOLLOWELL

LUMBERTON -- Beatrice Hucks Hollowell, 76, of Lumberton and formerly of Goldsboro, died Tuesday at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Robeson County. The Reverends Jim Seaman and George Connor will officiate.

Mrs. Hollowell was the widow of Edgar Hollowell and was a retired employee of Wayne County Public Schools. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and was active in its Carey Hedgepeth Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a son, Johnny West of Goldsboro; a daughter, Linda Locklear of Lumberton; two brothers, E.L. Hucks and Dave Hucks of Lumberton; three sisters, Ann Jenkins of Fairmont, Lisa Smith of Lumberton and Elaine Edgerton of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at 2582 Collins Drive, Lumberton.

Biggs Funeral Home is serving the family.
