LOUISE B. TALTON
EUREKA -- Louise Barnes "Doodle" Talton, 76, 105 N. Church St., died Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital of Greenville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Mount Nelson Baptist Church of Eureka with the Rev. Robbie Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Perry Clennon Barnes and Louise Wall Barnes and was the widower of Oscar Frank Talton.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Talton Pender and husband, Elbert Pender of Eureka; a son, Donald Talton of Eureka; two sisters, Doris Jones of Kenly and Darlene Pipkin of Black Creek; a half-sister, Ethel Green of Fremont; two half-brothers, William "Bob" Barnes and Jim Barnes of Fremont; two grandchildren, Donald W. Talton and Sandra Lynn Pender; and a great-grandchild, Brianna Lynn Casey.
The family will receive friends and relatives tonight from 7:30 to 9 at Seymour Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Susan T. Pender, 230 Davis St., Fremont.
