EARL LANCASTER

LAGRANGE -- Edward Earl Lancaster Jr., 56, of 516 LaGrange Road, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 in Castle Hayne.

Earl was born in Wayne County to Ed and Lucille Gray Lancaster of LaGrange. Earl was retired from E.I. Dupont and was presently working as a truck driver with Bailey Feed Mill in Selma. Earl was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Earl had a great love of the outdoors, fishing and horses.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 29, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Byron Murray officiating. Interment will be Friday, April 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Vinson Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, Earl is survived by a son, David Earl Lancaster and wife, Tina, of LaGrange; daughter, Michelle Hill and husband, Ron, of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Christiana Risban and husband, J.J., Drew Hill, Nick Lancaster, Jeremy Lancaster and Zack Lancaster; sister, Delores Mooring and husband, Ron of Morehead City; brother, Carl Lancaster and wife, Robbie of LaGrange; special companion, Vivian Creech of Zebulon.

The family will receive friends Thursday following the service and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lancaster, 578 La Grange Road, LaGrange.

Arrangements are by Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange.
