MARJORIE W. CASEY

Mrs. Marjorie White Casey, 76, of 156 Blueberry Rd., died Saturday at her home.

A native of Perquimans County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Bell White and Blanche Winslow White. Mrs. Casey was a retired school teacher and had worked as the church secretary for her church, Goldsboro Friends Meeting, for a number of years.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Goldsboro Friends Meeting with Willie Frye officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Casey is survived by her husband of 49 years, J. Frank Casey; her sons, Stephen Casey and wife, Melanie, of Raleigh and Kevin Casey and wife, Sherry, of Cary; grandchildren, Joshua Casey, Morgan Casey, Bennett Casey and Paige Casey; step-mother, Virginia White of Hope Mills; a brother, Lyndon White and wife, Eloise, of Belvedere; and sisters, Thelma Skinner and husband, Charlie, of Hertford and Mary Frances Twiddy and husband, Pat, of Hope Mills.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael White Casey; and a sister, Patricia Dillon.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service and at other times at her residence.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
