ELIZABETH CARLTON
WARSAW -- Elizabeth Carlton, 79, of 1373 N.C. 24 and 50 Hwy., died Thursday at Guardian Care Nursing Center, Kenansville.
She was the daughter of the late James Frank Boone and Mary Alice Howard Boone.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Carlton will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Rainbow Baptist Church, Warsaw. The Rev. Larry Hooks will officiate. Interment will be in the Boone Family Cemetery, Magnolia.
Mrs. Carlton is survived by two sons, Dwight Carlton of Warsaw and Louis Carlton of Faison; two daughters, Elma Carlton of Warsaw and Mable Nathaniel of Four Oaks; one sister, Lucille Stokes; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be held Monday from 4 until 7 p.m. and other times at the home of her son, Dwight Carlton, 1373 N.C. 24 and 50 Hwy., Warsaw.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
