HAROLD J. STARR

Harold James Starr, 86, of 311 Camden Park, died Saturday at his home.

Mr. Starr was born in Morris County, New Jersey, to the late Henry Starr and Nettie Conklin Starr. He was a retired mechanic with NASA.

Graveside services will be held at Wayne Memorial Park at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Ron Varner officiating.

Mr. Starr is survived by his wife, Lucille Prince Starr; his daughters, Beverly Varner and husband, the Rev. Ron Varner, of Goldsboro and Karen Buck and husband, Earl Buck, of Parma Heights, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laurie Ware, Christopher Buck, Tracy Francis, Jodi Cohen and Jerry Varner; 12 great-grandchildren, Jareth Ware, Wesley Ware, Ellie Ware, Jessica Francis, Skipper Francis, Cayla Cohen, Christopher Cohen, Jacob Cohen, Madison Varner, Crews Varner, Macy Varner and Hudson Varner; sisters, Mabel Rubino, Dottie Bonnaviat and Alice Englehart, all of New Jersey; and a brother, John Starr of Holly Hill, Fla.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. and other times at his home.
