EVELYN GOODMAN
CLINTON -- Evelyn Jones Goodman, 68, of 580 Brown Church Road, died Monday at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Royal-Hall Funeral Home. The Reverends Tony Moore and Ray Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Goodman was born in Wayne County and was the daughter of the late William Perry and Leona Jones. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Goodman; four daughters, Denise G. Beasley of Lexington, Ky., Sherry G. Hines of Turkey and Robbie G. Bullard and Johnice G. Weeks of Clinton; two sons, Robert L. "Bob" Goodman Jr. and David L. Goodman of Faison; four sisters, Carolyn J. Smith of Kinston, Nellie Rose Burton of Richmond, Va., Betty Jean West of Warrenton and Connie Sue West of Rocky Mount; four brothers, William Earl Jones of LaGrange, Lonnie M. Jones of Jason, Kenneth Ray Jones of Clinton and Gary Lee Jones of Smithfield; and 12 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
