ELMER BRINSON
The funeral for Elmer U.T. "Champ" Brinson, 79, of 622 Bacon St., Durham, formerly of Dudley, will be held Thursday at noon at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Anthony A. Rainge will officiate. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Park in Dudley.
Mr. Brinson died Saturday at Durham Regional Hospital.
He is survived by a daughter, Lillian Byrd of Durham, and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends one half hour prior to the service on Thursday.
