SCOTT HARDY
LAGRANGE -- Keith Scott Hardy, 43, of 3547 Brothers Road, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mallie Hinnant officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Hardy was a 1979 graduate of North Lenoir High School. He had worked as a physical therapy technician at Caswell Center for the past 14 years and was a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He had a great love of the outdoors and would go out of his way to help his neighbors and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Gail Nations Hardy; two children, Kristin and Kali Hardy of the home; his parents, Bob and Peggy Fox Hardy of LaGrange; one sister, Kelly Yawn, and her husband, Mike, of Marietta, Ga.; his mother-in-law, Lois Tillman of LaGrange; his father-in-law, Charles A. Nations of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Morris Goodman Jr. and Phyllis Goodman of LaGrange, Lennie Lipscomb and Debbie Lipscomb of Mechanicsville, Va.; uncles and aunts, Jim and Brenda Fleming of Greenville, S.C., and Charles and Carol Hardy of LaGrange; nephews, Andrew Yawn, Joshua Yawn, Carol Goodman and Zachary Scott Goodman; and nieces, Stephanie Yawn, Amanda Goodman and Brittany Dobb.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Rouse Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hardy, 3567 Brothers Road, LaGrange.
