CARMEN POTTER
AURORA -- Carmen Allen Potter, 61, sister of Karen Allen Garris of Goldsboro, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Edward Christian Church. Burial will be in High Hill-Aurora Cemetery.
Mrs. Potter was born in Beaufort County and was the daughter of Kathleen Brantley Allen and the late David Earl Allen Sr.
In addition to her mother and sister, Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband, Jimmy Potter; three sons, Bryan B. Midyette, Charles Allen Midyette and Arthur Randolph Overton of Aurora; a stepson, James Todd Potter of Blounts; a stepdaughter, Kristen Anne Potter of the home; another sister, Ronda Allen Lewis of Hobucken; one brother, David Earl Allen Jr. of Chapel Hill; and eight grandchildren.
