ELWOOD SUTTON
ROSEBORO -- John Elwood "Woody" Sutton, 41, of 1320 Porter Road, died Sunday at Bladen County Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home. The Rev. Dewey Ball and the Rev. Jimmy Flowers will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton City Cemetery.
Sutton was a native of Sampson County, a member of Garland Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, and a driver for Lundy Packing Co.
He is survived by his parents, James Elwood and Edna Joy Hainey Sutton of the home; two sons, Jeremy Donald Sutton of Washington and Johnathan Andrew Sutton of Garland; two stepdaughters, Chelsea Danielle Sutton and Michelle Lassiter of Washington; and a sister, Beth Kellogg of Roseboro.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
