MICHAEL REGANS
FREMONT -- Michael Eugene Regans, 57, of 202 S. Vance Street, died Wednesday at his home.
A native of Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Margaret Irvin Regans of Hunters-ville and the late Thomas E. Regans. Mr. Regans was an agricultural extension agent with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service and was a member of the National Association of County Agricultural Agents. He served his country in the United States Air Force.
At his request, no formal funeral services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Anne Weathers Regans; his brother, Danny Regans of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.
