LUCY BAKER

KENANSVILLE -- Lucy "Susie" Outlaw Baker, 65, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Outlaw and Leona Bell Outlaw of Wayne County and was the widow of Harvey Jackson Baker. She was a member of Sarecta Original Free Will Baptist Church and was a former employee of Whisper Soft.

She is survived by two sons and their wives, Harvey Franklin and Vickie Baker of Texas and Danny Edwin and Brenda Baker of Kenansville; two daughters, Betsy Baker Register and her husband, Dale, of Delway and Ella Dawn Baker of Georgia; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Community Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverends Cecil Blackman and Joey Crumpler will officiate. The committal service will follow at Golden Grove Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. Stacy Watford. Members of Serecta O.F.W.B. church will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Community Funeral Home, Warsaw, and other times at the residence.

Flowers will be gladly accepted, or memorial donations may be made to Sarecta Original Free Will Baptist Church; or to the American Heart Association, Memorial and Tribute Processing Center, Post Office Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va., 23058-5216.
