THOMAS MOORE
WALLACE -- Thomas William Moore, 87, of 1027 Wards Road, died unexpectedly on Monday.
Mr. Moore was the son of the late Carnie William and Carrie Tatum Moore of Pender County.
He is survived by his wife, Essie B. Moore; two daughters, Carolyn Howard and husband Graham of Wallace and Doris Frederick of Warsaw, widow of William Frederick; a granddaughter reared in the home, Charlene F. Meshaw, and her husband, Kenneth, of Wallace; two other granddaughters, Wren Lane and husband Earl of Warsaw and Cindy Lewis and husband Dean of Morven, S.C.; grandsons, Michael Frederick and wife Rebecca of Warsaw, Graham Howard Jr. and wife Michelle of Wallace; and four step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held today at 7 p.m. at Wells Chapel Church, and the family will receive friends afterward. Burial will be on Thursday morning at 11 in the church cemetery.
At other times the family will be at the home at 1027 Wards Road.
Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill is serving the family.
