ANNIE MAE WATKINS

NEWTON GROVE -- Annie Mae Watkins, 84, of 854 Cedar Point Road, died Saturday.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Faye Watkins of Raleigh and Elizabeth "Lib" Bass of Cary; a son, Curtis Watkins of Newton Grove; brothers, James Parson of Clinton and Jessie Parson of Dunn; sisters, Margaret King of Clinton, Alma Stanley of Savannah, Ga., and Edna Smith of Emerald Isle; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Watkins, and a son, Johnny Watkins.

The family will receive friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home, Newton Grove, this evening from 6 until 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Free Will Baptist Church Choir.
