LOUISE SMITH

WARSAW -- The funeral for Louise Marie Baggett Smith, 77, of 609 W. College St., will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Warsaw. The Rev. Reginald Wells will officiate. Burial will be in Smith-Baggett Cemetery in Faison.

Mrs. Smith died Monday at her home.

A retired teacher with the Duplin County Schools, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Lenora Smith Baggett and wife of the late Clifton Smith.

Surviving are three sons, Clifton C. Smith of Warsaw, Clayton C. Smith of Whitby Island, Wash., and Victor E. Smith of the home; two daughters, Debra Morrisey of Warsaw and Marlene s. Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, James C.. Baggett of Warsaw; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home and the family will be there to greet friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
