Jesse Urban "Boot" Griswold, 70, of 114 Newcomb Drive, died Sunday at his home.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church in Dudley. The Rev. Antonio Lawrence will officiate. Burial will be in the Green-Simmons Cemetery.
Mr. Griswold is survived by a daughter, Christina Hamilton of Goldsboro; his mother, Bessie Griswold of Dudley; a sister, Linda Griswold of Dudley; two brothers, Kenneth Griswold of Miami, Fla., and Marvin Griswold of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren.
The viewing hours will b e from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel and the family will be there to receive friends at 7 p.m.
