BRENDA MATTHEWS
CLAYTON -- Brenda Barbour Matthews, 53, died Monday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billie Lawson Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Matthews is survived by her husband, Donnie Matthews; daughters, Amy M. Spears, Angie M. Laxton of Clayton; son, Jamie D. Matthews of Clayton; brothers, Danny Barbour of Los Frenos, Texas, and Billy Barbour of Clayton; a stepsister, Jeanette Carter of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
