ROY S. DUDLEY
Roy Samuel "Buddy" Dudley, 39, of 4125 US Hwy. 13 South, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Wayne County to Elsie Hayes Dudley and the late Roy Junior Dudley. He attended Jordans Chapel Baptist Church in his earlier years.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Jim Turbyfill will officiate.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Annette Dudley; one son, Bobby Ray Dudley of Goldsboro; his grandmother, Zora Dudley of Dunn; and two brothers, Glynn Dudley of Mount Olive and Dale Dudley of Dudley; one niece, Lynn Dudley; one nephew, Cody Dudley; and special friends, Patti McKenna, Kathy Kirk and Jerry Chandler
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
