Janie Lee Williamson Daniels, 83, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 South Slocumb St. The officiating minister will be the Rev. James A. Davis, Moderator, Kenansville Eastern Missionary Baptist Association. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Daniels was the daughter of the late William Lee Sparrow and Rossie Williamson Harrington and was the widow of the Rev. Frank Levion Daniels Sr.

She is survived by four daughters, Bessie D. Jones, Jannie D. Powell and Rossie D. Edwards of Goldsboro and Sadie D. Height (George) of Raleigh; two sons, Frank L. Daniels Jr. (Claretha) and Herbert B. Daniels (Marion) of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one stepbrother, James Moore of Goldsboro, N.C.; three stepsisters, Geraldine Dais (Charlie) and Frances Best of Goldsboro and Inez Stamp of Kissimmee, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sons-in-law, Billy Edwards, Sylvester Powell and Clarence Jones, and one granddaughter, Denise Wooten.

A viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
