BETTY KORNEGAY
MOUNT OLIVE -- Betty Ann Kornegay, 60, of 104 E. Pollock St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at St. James Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, of Mount Olive. The Rev. Joseph Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery.
Ms. Kornegay was an employee of Friendly Mart #2.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Fryar of Mount Olive; two sons, Reginal Kornegay and Dontrail Stukes of Mount Olive; seven sisters, Peggy Warren and Vivian Pemberton of Mount Olive; Mary Highsmith and Doris Highsmith of New Haven, Conn.; Kay Battle of Petersburg, Va., Annie Coleman of Lumberton, and Shirley Fennell of Garner; and three grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 today at Bass Funeral Home.
