JOSEPH BODY
Joseph Raymond Body, 92, of 1241 Parkstown Road, LaGrange, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Pastor Daryl Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Mr. Body was the son of the late Will and Nora Jackson Body. He attended Wayne County Schools and worked as a mechanic and an auto body technician.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Body of Goldsboro; a daughter, Lenorea Jones of Elizabeth, N.J.; four brothers, Robert Body of the Elroy community and Malachi Body, Samuel Body and Alton Body of the Parkstown community; two sisters, Mildred Rhodes of Goldsboro and Evelyn Williams of Washington, D.C.; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 p.m. today at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
The funeral procession will line up at Robert Body's residence at 440 Milllers Chapel Road.
